For companies and teams

Senior Frontend Engineer

Nine years on production React applications — from enterprise platforms with 30+ engineers to products I built from scratch on my own. I get up to speed in a large existing system fast, and I use AI as a serious engineering tool, not a code generator.

What I can help with

Production React and Next.js development

Features and whole modules in large codebases, with TypeScript and tests as the default.

Architecture and technical decisions

Application structure, state management, module boundaries and decisions that don't backfire six months later.

Legacy modernization

Gradually moving old code toward a maintainable state, without stopping delivery.

Performance and Core Web Vitals

Measuring, profiling and concrete changes — not guessing what's slow.

Testing and code review

Unit and integration tests, review culture and technical documentation that keeps up with the code.

AI-assisted engineering

Rolling structured AI workflows out to a team — repository context, review, tests, documentation.

What I do

What I do

Three things, clearly separated.

Build

Web products

React and Next.js applications designed for production — not a demo that falls apart when real traffic arrives.

Improve

Existing applications

Architecture, performance, refactoring and legacy modernization — without rewriting everything from scratch.

Accelerate

AI-assisted engineering

Structured AI workflows for faster development without sacrificing code quality.

Work

Selected work

Two projects that best show how I work.

Personal product

Fitler — SaaS platform for trainers

Problem

Personal trainers run their clients across three or four separate tools — training in one spreadsheet, nutrition in another, progress in a phone message. Nothing is connected, and the client has no single place to see their plan.

Solution

A SaaS platform combining client management, training programs, nutrition and progress tracking in one product — with separate workflows for the trainer and the client.

My role

Product design · Frontend · Backend · Architecture · AI-assisted development

Key features

  • Role-based workflows — separate trainer and client experiences
  • Training program and nutrition plan management
  • Client progress tracking over time
  • Subscriptions and billing
  • Responsive dashboard + mobile app

Stack

  • Next.js
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • Fastify
  • PostgreSQL
  • React Native

Outcome A complete product built and shipped solo — from database architecture to the mobile app.

Enterprise

AI development workflow in an enterprise team

Problem

A large legacy React codebase, a team of 30+ engineers and many repetitive development steps. Every task required significant context before the first line of code, while review and documentation constantly lagged behind.

Solution

Structured AI workflows around repository context, task-specific instructions, code review, test generation and technical documentation — AI as part of the engineering process, not a code generator.

My role

Workflow design · Team rollout · Frontend development

Key features

  • Repository-aware context instead of manually explaining the codebase
  • Task-specific AI instructions
  • Automated first pass of code review
  • Validating implementation against the specification
  • Unit test and technical documentation generation

Stack

  • React
  • SCSS
  • Jest
  • Claude Code
  • Gemini CLI
  • Python

Outcome ~30% reduction in development time on selected workflows, across a team of 30+ engineers.

AI

AI-assisted engineering

AI isn't a replacement for engineering — it's part of my engineering workflow.

  1. Code
  2. Review
  3. Tests
  4. Refactoring
  5. Docs
  6. PR
~30%development time saved on selected workflows
  • Repository-aware development — AI works with full project context
  • Task-specific instructions
  • Automated first pass of code review
  • Validating implementation against the specification
  • Unit test generation
  • Legacy code analysis before changing it
  • Technical documentation that doesn't lag behind the code
  • Exploring architectural options before deciding

Experience

Work experience

Nine years shipping products in production.

  • Built and maintained a large-scale enterprise translation platform in production (React, SCSS, Jest).
  • Extended and maintained an internally developed state-management framework.
  • Introduced structured LLM-assisted engineering workflows for implementation, debugging, testing, review and documentation.
  • Defined an AI process for validating Jira specifications and the first pass of pull request review.
  • ~30% reduction in development time on selected workflows, in a team of 30+ engineers.
  • Automated local environment setup and deployment to Apache Tomcat (Python).
  • Led frontend development for marketing analytics and e-commerce platforms.
  • Designed interactive dashboards for large datasets (Highcharts, D3.js).
  • Introduced Next.js routing and Sanity CMS into existing products.
  • Raised Core Web Vitals and made accessibility standards part of the process.
  • Shipped CMS and e-commerce solutions for VIU.
  • Set up SSR-ready Vue.js applications.
  • Introduced unit tests (Jest) working with UX, backend and QA teams.
  • Built workforce management platform features (Vue.js, Knockout.js, jQuery).
  • Applied OWASP security principles in the frontend layer.
